Hawaii has been given $1.4 million for the Affordable Care
Act, this sum is a part of the $665 million distributed between 28 states and
three territories. The funding will go into effect once Hawaii exercises better
screening and therapy services to
patients.
The goal is to improve Hawaii’s health care system through
mass funding and incentive pay to workers, they believe money is the key to
increasing research and performance. If this grant advances the health system
of Hawaii, they will continue to see funding through the State Innovation Model
Test Award.

This represents the idea that a market can be manipulated to produce results if incentives are guided towards the desired outcomes. I definitely appreciate the effort, but it takes time and dedication. My parents have spoken about these concepts for 40 years, so again, this takes time and dedication, but it is imperative that something is done to keep costs as low as possible.
