uber is known as a low cost taxi service that's really useful to people that need to get from place to place. Uber has found loopholes that allows its company to operate without using the regular safety rules. Because of uber and its loopholes it extended int the tax code. Over the past 2 years uber has established a global network that is designed to minimize its taxes.
Do you think this is fair to regular taxi companies that actually pay federal, state, and local taxes?
No,I don't think it's fair. If "regular taxi companies" are paying federal, state, and local taxes why shouldn't Uber have to pay them. If Uber continues to grow as a business it'll most likely result in paying taxes.
ReplyDeleteI think Uber should pay taxes as other taxi companies do because they are also making profit off of unauthorized airport transportation. They are collecting revenue through a system and should have too pay taxes as everyone else does.

ReplyDeleteI believe that uber SHOULD pay taxes. It isn't fair to the other taxi companies that do pay taxes. My dad is a taxi driver and always talks about how uber is stealing all his business. He works for 12 hours straight, and does not make as much as he should be making. Uber continues to become a bigger business, therefore they should pay taxes.
