Attracting stronger immigrants

“Instead of the lawlessness and the president’s unconstitutional executive amnesty, imagine a president that finally, finally, finally secures the borders,” - Ted Cruz
If  Ted Cruz becomes president he will finally secure the borders. A lot of Hispanic people are against this but it will make our country stronger. Securing the borders better will make it harder to get across and keep out more immigrants. So many people are against this because they cant see the bigger picture and just want their friends to get across. This is a selfish way of  thinking and will only make our country weaker. If the borders are harder to get across then only smarter, stronger, more cunning immigrants will get across. Stronger and smarter immigrants will better help further our country. Its called Darwinism and will help filter out the weak.

Isis is only getting stronger, so who would you feel safer being protected by, an average farmer from mexico or Scarface?

  1. Interesting use of Darwinism. In fact, right now there is a program called H-1,B-1 Visa that allows highly qualified immigrants (a lot Indian computer programmers for example) to apply for legal work status. Two other thoughts:
    1. Miami experienced a large amount of Cuban immigrants in the 1980s that became involved in crime, which reminds me of how Americans are often scared of immigrants.

    2. If the border could be secured at a reasonable cost we would do it. In fact, we are spending a huge amount of money right now to have a relatively secure border. I'm not sure how much more money it would take to build more fencing in the middle of the Sonaran desert in Arizona, but out there it's really hard to secure hundreds of miles of desert.

  2. This is a great view point, but I would like to point out that Darwinism doesn't make a person "stronger" as much as a good upbringing does. Even an average farmer is still hardworking and will do the dirty work that most people refuse to do. I say let them cross over because even "weak" people can help the economy by paying taxes. If they are hurting the economy, chances are our capitalist system will filter them out and they won't receive a good life here either. If they don't make it here they'll move back.
